Honestly, this seems like it has a lot of potential. There really are some cool ideas here. However, the poor grammar just really took me out of it. I found myself trying to figure out what was being said more than I was actually enjoying myself. Otherwise, it seems like it really could be a great game, someone just needs to edit the dialogue and grammar. So I'm gonna leave it with 3 stars in the hopes this issue is fixed in a later version. Keep up the good work. =)

Thank you :)

I've got to say, this one takes you for quite an emotional ride. It's very impressive. I will say that the game starts off slow, but it's very much by design. By going slow and lulling you into a boring routine, you get a feel for the kind of life and mentality your character experiences, which make the high notes of this game all the richer.
The only thing I'd say might improve the gameplay is not having that area outside and to the left of the apartment building. Since there's nothing to do there, it just seems to waste time. I'm not sure if that's intentional in this kind of game, but I thought I should point it out. Also, a faster running speed wouldn't hurt.
Still, those are the only minor notes I can give. This game does a great job of accomplishing what it sets out to do and I highly recommend giving this a shot.

P.S. Anyone who plays this should definitely wait for the credits to finish to see that last scene and get the full experience!

A well executed reimagining of a classic game! I highly recommend playing in first person (that's just me though).

Thanks. I prefer 1st person too, most players seem to prefer 3rd person though.

Okay, so I do want to say the game is REALLY cool! Like...shit, it's pretty cool! xD That being said there are some things that, in my opinion, could use some tweaking. First off, the hit detection mechanic can be a little janky. I like how you get a visual indication with text that says which stance the opponent is in. However, sometimes that indicator is blocked by the scenery (i.e. the grass in the foreground) or the weapons (though the weapons might just be me). Additionally, the boss at 16 is freaking hard dude...like, seriously, wtf xD. Now I will say, I didn't give it more than 3 tries, but from what I've seen in the comments, I'm not the only one who noticed this. I got the impression that a jump or dodge mechanic could've really helped with it. Otherwise, great game, man! I love the simplistic combat style (with the exception of 16 xD)!

Honestly, some of these puzzles are ingenious while others are downright pointless where nearly every combination of moves results in success. This is okay for the levels that introduce you to certain blocks' functions and concepts, but is otherwise dissapointing as a player. The overall idea behind the game is very intriguing, and while it could use some work, there's a lot of potential here. :)

The most interesting thing about this game is that it has different endings and that means playing through the same gameplay over and over again. That's good for replayability, and is a clever way to develop the main character. However, that gets really boring really fast and the game moves rather slow which doesn't do much to facilitate the player's interest. This is primarily an issue with drinking. It takes so long to down the appropriate amount of beers for several of the endings. Overall, it's interesting story-wise, but the gameplay itself is pretty lackluster. If you plan on makeing edits in the future, I'd recommend working on the pacing of the game: make it faster or at least more fun to play at the current slow pace. Otherwise, good job. It's a neat idea. It's a bit vulgar for my tastes, but that's honestly just me and not something that can really be helped.

P.S. The computer game could use some work. It's impossible to rotate fast enough to defeat enemy ships before they fire at you, and since you can't move, their shots ALWAYS hit which makes the game more about luck (you just have to hope you're lucky enough to not get multiple enemy ships on screen at once).

Good review and good points made, I'll keep your critique in mind for the future.

And about the computer game: Sorry that's my fault I forgot to tell the controls for that particular minigame, because I reused an older one, The ship can move by pressing the Up key. After establishing that the only keys used are the Left, Right and Space, I should have told about the Up key inside the minigame. :P

Cool idea. However, the execution is rather poor. I encountered a lot of bugs/glitches that made the game rather difficult to play and even unplayable entirely. Still, there's definitely promise here. I saw in the comments you have the second part out, so I'll check that out next!

Good game! Very simple, fun, entertaining, and charming. However, there are many text errors (e.g. spelling, grammar, etc.) that really pull you out of an otherwise immersive experience. Also, it can be difficult to understand where you should be heading at times. For example, there's no prompt to return to your hometown after "clearing" the fake town. Still, it's a good game overall.

Unless I'm doing something wrong, it seems as though the game doesn't work. Perhaps I'm just not understanding how to play, in which case, you should add a tutorial.

The glitch where you can't leave the room with the car keys is still there for me. :/
